Family Pages
We would be pleased to receive reports, family trees, photographs and any other information about the origins of your particular branch of the family. With these, we can produce "family pages" under your own name. For examples of such pages, you can see those set up by Omar Hobohm and Harald Hobohm. For the time being we only plan to post such separate individual pages for the various Hobohms who get in touch with us. At a later stage, when we have received enough information, we shall also attempt to discover links between the various branches of the family.
Special Reports
We also publish special reports on matters of general interest related to our family. These would include stories about research into our family history and about activities undertaken by the various branches of the family. As a first step in this direction, we have published two reports about the third Hobohm family reunion arranged last June by Richard Hohbaum. If you have something special, Hobohm-related, to let us know about, please don't hesitate to contact us!
Publications
While surfing through the internet looking for references to "Hobohm", we were struck by the wide range of publications that Hobohms have produced over the years. This gave us the idea to set up a special section on Treffpunkt Hobohm containing a list of these publications. Of course, we realise that the resulting bibliography is not in any way complete and still has many gaps - we are relying on your help to fill them! If you want to make any additions or corrections please contact us.
Hobohm Genealogical Maps
In this section we shall attempt to show the geographic distribution of the Hobohms with reference a number of maps. It is amazing to see how far the Hobohms have spread! (Flash player needed)
Internet Links and Searchers
The internet provides a unique medium for finding and establishing contact with other Hobohms throughout the world. We hope to facilitate this process by establishing direct links to the personal websites of other members of Hobohms and other relatives. In addition, we also provide links to major internet search engines providing "people finder" functions and directory services. We have used these services intensively and come up with references to a large number of Hobohms all over the world. To suggest a link, please contact us!
